1. Who we are

Visit Cappadocia is operated by Fazli Karabacak and Serendipity Tours Turkey (Serendip Turizm Tic. Ltd. Şti.), a TÜRSAB-licensed travel agency (#7797). You can reach us at info@visitcappadocia.com or via our contact page.

2. What we collect

• Enquiry and booking details: your name, email address, phone number, travel dates, group size, and any preferences you share through our forms or email.
• Newsletter subscriptions: your email address, only if you choose to subscribe.
• Analytics data: anonymised usage information (pages visited, approximate region, device type) collected via Google Analytics 4 with IP anonymisation enabled.
• Website performance: page-view and page-performance measurements collected by Cloudflare Web Analytics.

3. How we use your data

• To respond to your enquiries and prepare tour quotations.
• To organise and deliver booked tours, including sharing necessary details with hotels, transport providers, and licensed local suppliers in Türkiye.
• To send occasional newsletters if you subscribed (unsubscribe at any time).
• To understand how the site is used and improve it.

We do not sell your personal data or share it with third parties for their marketing.

4. Cookies and analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to measure site usage. It sets cookies to distinguish visitors and sessions; IP addresses are anonymised. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or opt out using the Google Analytics opt-out add-on. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

Cloudflare also automatically adds a separate Web Analytics beacon for page-view and performance statistics. Cloudflare describes this service as privacy-first analytics and states that it does not collect or use visitors' personal data. See the Cloudflare Web Analytics documentation. These measurements are separate from Google Analytics and from enquiry or booking information.

5. Data retention and security

Enquiry correspondence is retained only as long as needed to handle your request and any resulting booking, and to meet legal record-keeping obligations. We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information.

6. Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict the processing of your personal data, and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. Residents of Türkiye have rights under the Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (KVKK). To exercise any of these rights, email info@visitcappadocia.com.

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
