4. Changes by Visit Cappadocia
If we must change a significant element of your tour before departure for reasons beyond your control, we will offer you either an equivalent/alternative tour, a partial refund reflecting any difference in value, or a full refund. Minor changes (e.g. a same-standard hotel substitution, order-of-visit changes, or an equally qualified guide substitution) are not considered significant changes.
5. Force Majeure
Visit Cappadocia is not liable for failure to perform, or delay in performing, any obligation under these terms caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, epidemics, war, terrorism, civil unrest, government restrictions, border/airspace closures, strikes, or industrial action. In such cases, we will assist you as reasonably possible and offer rescheduling or a refund of amounts not already irrecoverably committed to third parties.
6. Health & Fitness
You should be in reasonably good health to participate in your tour. Many of our itineraries include walking on uneven or archaeological terrain. If you have a health condition, mobility limitation, or dietary requirement, please inform us in writing at the time of booking. We are not able to provide medical advice; please consult your own physician regarding any vaccinations or health preparations for travel to Turkey.
7. Passports, Visas & Travel Documents
You are responsible for ensuring you and all travellers in your party hold valid passports, visas, and any other required travel documents. We recommend passports remain valid for at least 6 months beyond your return date. We are not liable for any loss, denied boarding, or additional cost resulting from missing or invalid travel documents.
8. Limitation of Liability
Visit Cappadocia acts as an agent arranging services provided by third parties (airlines, hotels, coach operators, local guides, etc.). We are not liable for death, injury, loss, or damage arising from the acts, defaults, or omissions of these independent third-party providers, or from events outside our control (force majeure, government action, strikes, technical failures, etc.), except where such liability cannot be excluded under applicable law. Our liability, where it does apply, is limited to the value of the affected portion of your booking.
9. Complaints
Any issue arising during your tour should be reported immediately to your guide or local representative so it can be addressed in real time. If unresolved, please submit a written complaint to info@visitcappadocia.com within 30 days of your tour's completion. We will respond within 15 days.
10. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Turkey. Any dispute will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ankara, Turkey, without prejudice to any statutory consumer protection rights you may hold in your own country of residence.
